WWE officially announced before this week’s WWE RAW that Charlotte Flair will be replacing Sasha Banks in the scheduled match. This came as a direct effect as Banks failed to get over from an injury. WWE kept her out of action since the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view has passed by but the former Raw Women’s Champion failed to recover. So the precautionary measures continued for her where the doctors did not medically clear her to compete,
“This week’s Raw was set to begin with Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks in a match to determine which brand would receive the first pick on Night Two of the 2019 WWE Draft. However, due to injuries sustained in last week’s WWE Hell in a Cell Match against the Raw Women’s Champion, The Boss has not been medically cleared to compete and will be replaced by Charlotte Flair.”

As per WWE’s information, Sasha Banks was pulled from WWE RAW due to injuries she suffered during last Sunday’s Hell In a Cell loss to Becky Lynch. PWInsider.com noted that Banks suffered a tailbone injury during the match, and was pulled from the ring as she was not medically cleared to compete. WWE also pulled her from this past weekend’s live events and replaced her with Tamina Snuka. Additionally, Wrestling Observer noted that she is also dealing with a hip injury, too.

Sescoops.com carried report from WON which reveals some more information regarding the injury,
“Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Banks and people in WWE are trying to keep things close to the vest while they await more information on how serious the situation is. Meltzer adds that Banks is telling people she did not suffer a concussion.”
Sasha Banks has just come back from a hiatus following Summerslam that changed the course of the female roster of the WWE. The heel-turn took over the scene that almost hinted her to become the new WWE Women’s Champion. But that was not the case at Hell in a Cell as good days for her may not last long. Reports also claim that the picked-up injury at the bygone championship match is likely to keep her out of action for sometimes.
