The Creed Brothers have become the winners of the 2022 WWE NXT Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. Over on last night’s Vengeance Day special event, Brutus Creed and Julius Creed of the Diamond Mine faction have defeated MSK’s Wes Lee and Nash Carter in the tournament finale to achieve the biggest accolade of their NXT career.
After Lee was neutralized in the match by Brutus while delivering a suicidal dive, Julius took care of Carter as he pinned him after hitting a sliding forearm. Following this victory, The Creed Brothers will receive a title shot from WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium at a later date. The match will be announced, later while the winners will also have their name inked to the Dusty Cup trophy.

Women’s Dusty Classic to begin on WWE NXT
In more news from WWE NXT, next week will mark the beginning of the 2022 Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. But no teams or matchups have been confirmed for the upcoming edition. However, on last night’s episode, we got some updates about the new teams who could be featured on the show.
A video aired on the show, where former WWE NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez called Cora Jade to wake her up. Gonzalez forgot to wake up and it was upset over the fact that she isn’t enough amped up to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The two have previously agreed to be on the same page for the win.
In another backstage segment, Kay Lee Ray featured with Io Shirai as the two went on to destroy a table filled with dishes over the frustration that Toxic Attraction has all the golds around their waist. These two might team for WWE NXT Dusty Cup Women’s tourney while Elektra Lopez also declared the same but she needs to choose a partner, first.
