WWE NXT: Women’s Tournament Postponed; New Match Set For In Your House 2022

The 2022 WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament finale will be happening, next week during the weekly episode of NXT 2.0. The tournament finals were originally supposed to be held during last night’s episode, but it was changed.

One of the finalists, Roxanne Perez appeared for a promo session and mentioned that the finals between her and Tiffany Stratton will be happening on the June 7 episode of WWE NXT 2.0. No particular reason was given for why the match was pushed back.

On her way to the inaugural WWE NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament finals, Perez defeated Lash Legend, two weeks ago in the semi-finals. Last week, Tiffany Stratton replaced an injured Nikkita Lyons. She would get to the finals by defeating Fallon Henley in the other semi-finale matchup. According to Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, Lyons suffered a freak injury that happened while she was training.

New match set for WWE NXT In Your House 2022 PPV

In more news coming out of last night’s WWE NXT, a new match was announced for the upcoming In Your House pay-per-view event. This match will witness is a battle between the two family factions of NXT, Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde vs. Tony D’Angelo, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, and Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan.

The match will go down with a stipulation that suggests that the losing team will join the other family and follow their patriarch. The two teams have been feuding with each other for sometimes and this is going to be a rematch from a few weeks ago.

WWE NXT In Your House 2022 edition was originally planned to be a themed weekly episode. But later WWE announced this one to be a WWE Network Specials during the Hell in a Cell weekend (Saturday, June 4 beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT). The updated card for the second-ever Specials from the revamped NXT 2.0 brand goes as follows,
