WWE NXT: Big Championship Change During Post 2022 Stand And Deliver Episode

WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships changed hands, just a couple of days ago at the Stand & Deliver event. Just two days later, Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin have become the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions beating the former champions in a tag team match.

As seen in the post-Stand & Deliver event, Dolin and Jayne captured the WWE NXT women’s tag team titles by defeating Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai in a tag team bout. The finish of the match saw Wendy Choo try to interfere to give an advantage to Kai and Gonzalez, much like she did at Stand & Deliver.

But WWE NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose took her out, coming from behind. During the chaos, Dolin and Jayne blocked a Chingona Bomb from Raquel and double-teamed a distracted Gonzalez, and took out her hurt knee to capitalize. The two challengers then hit her with the Toxic Shock move to secure the pinfall win.

WWE NXT women’s tag belts changed hands again

This is the second reign together for Toxic Attraction’s Dolin and Jayne. Kai and Gonzalez have just won the titles at Saturday’s Stand & Deliver Kickoff pre-show, by defeating Dolin and Jayne. Kai and Gonzalez had to end their title reign after holding the titles for three recognized days. Interestingly, this reign has actually lasted longer than their inaugural title reign that ended on the same night.

These two were the inaugural tag team titleholders following their tournament win in March 2021. But they dropped the titles on the same night. Raquel and Kai might have been the only two-time NXT tag team titles’ holder but they never had the opportunity to go through a successful title defense with this title.

In the beginning portion of WWE NXT, McKenzie Mitchell stood backstage with Toxic Attraction. Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin weren’t obviously happy about dropping the NXT Tag Team Titles. They blamed it on Wendy Choo for the distraction.

Plus, they said that they’re going to end the career of Raquel Gonzalez on the show. NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose talked about how people get hurt when they get upset. Ultimately, they didn’t only hurt her but also Toxic Attraction took all the title belts of WWE NXT to become THE attraction on the brand.
