WWE NXT Tag Team Championships will be defended at NXT Halloween Havoc 2021, next week. This week’s episode saw Imperium’s Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner defeat The Diamond Mine’s The Creed Brothers. After the match, NXT Tag Team Champions MSK – Wes Lee and Nash Carter attacked Imperium from behind.
A brawl ensued between the two teams after which MSK stood tall. MSK then issued a challenge for NXT Halloween Havoc 2021. This match was later officially announced as a ‘Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal’ matchup. This is the third such matchup for the upcoming night.
NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Io Shirai defeated Jacy Jayne and Persia Pirotta in a Triple Threat. Per the stipulation of the match, Shirai and Zoey Stark got to “spin the wheel” to pick the stipulation for next Tuesday’s title defense against Pirotta, Indi Hartwell, Jacey Jayne, and Gigi Dolin.
The wheel stopped on Scareway To Hell Ladder Match, and this was announced to be the stipulation for next week’s Triple Threat title match. The third “Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal” matchup will witness the NXT Women’s Championship hanging in the balance as Mandy Rose challenges Raquel Gonzalez for the title.
WWE Raw Season Premiere Announced; KOTR-Queen’s Crown Finale Set
It was announced that Solo Sikoa, Rikishi’s son will make his debut at NXT Halloween Havoc 2021. A new vignette for his debut aired around him while it was not clarified who will compete against him.
A Haunted House segment will also be there during NXT Halloween Havoc 2021. During this week’s NXT 2.0 episode, Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis began a feud with NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, with Gargano planning to challenge for the title. Gargano and Lumis scared away the two heels as Hayes left his title belt, behind. Hayes and Trick later received an invitation to enter a Haunted House next week to try and find the title.
