WWE NXT will come up with a packed edition, next week where the prime title of the brand will be kept on the line. It has now been confirmed that a title match for the NXT Championship will be held on the next NXT episode on the USA Network. Finn Balor will defend the NXT Title against Adam Cole as a result of the recent attacks by the challenger on the champion.
Finn Balor was the one to issue the challenge to Adam Cole during a confrontation with Roderick Strong in the opening sequences of WWE NXT. The two eventually worked in a non-title main event match where Balor dominated the major part. After some near falls, Balor hit 1916 for the win. Balor then had a staredown with Cole to end the segment.

In other news from this week’s WWE NXT, Women’s Dusty Classic winners Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez challenged Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Following a referee spot, Jax and Raquel brawled to the floor as Adam Pearce came out and introduced a new referee.
Shayna locked in the rear-naked choke for the win over Kai but then it appeared that the submitter wasn’t the legal person for her team. Perhaps, there will be a rematch, down the line. Also, General Manager William Regal will make a major announcement regarding the Women’s Tag Title picture during next Wednesday’s show.

WWE NXT TakeOver happening at Wrestlemania weekend
Fans could be even more excited as it’s now being hinted that a WWE NXT TakeOver will be there within six weeks. People who are canceling their WWE Network subscriptions while making move to Peacock have discovered that an interesting piece of information was thrown upon them.
A message popped up before the cancellation saying that fans who cancel their WWE Network subscriptions will miss upcoming events such as FastLane on March 21st, WWE NXT TakeOver on April 8th, and WrestleMania on April 10th and 11th. Since WWE has made no official announcement regarding the next NXT Special, this message caught the fans, off-guard. But it makes sense as to why there’s not an NXT Title match expected on the main card of WrestleMania 37. For further updates on the situation, you have to be tuned in.
