WWE NXT Title Match between current champion Bron Breakker and the number-one contender Santos Escobar has been announced. It will take place on February 15 at NXT Vengeance Day 2022 edition. WWE confirmed the match via a release on their official website.

Bron Breakker won the WWE NXT Championship from Tommaso Ciampa at New Year’s Evil in January and hereby quickly advance to become the prime babyface player of the brand. This is the reason why he has received criticism from Escobar for becoming champion, so quickly. Escobar admittedly despises Bron for all the opportunities handed to him and for becoming the NXT Champion before he did.

Now that the title match has been announced between the two, the two competitors will attend a Championship Summit on this Tuesday’s WWE NXT that will be just a week ahead of their clash in the ring. A press release was issued by WWE as they indicated that the two men will come face to face and exchange heated war of words before their title match.
