WWE Raw/Smackdown roster already had a lot of championships present on the scene to take care of. Sometimes, the number of talents and belts appear to become headaches for the creative team members as a result of which critics end up discussing the negative aspects of such a chaotic situation. But that didn’t prevent the company from inventing even more championship belts.
Back in 2019, Women’s Tag Team Championships and 24/7 Championships were introduced on WWE Raw to stir things up. Who knows whether the company plans to bring a belt in the future for a trifecta group on their roster.
During WWE’s recent trip to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2021 edition, top WWE Raw Superstar Big E spoke with Wrestlingac.com’s YouTube channel about a number of topics. This included a question from the host that whether there’s a possibility of having a trios title within the company.
“That would be pretty cool. That would be dope, we will see,” was the reply from the reigning WWE Champion.

Big E pays tribute to Luke Harper on WWE Raw, all the time
Without a doubt, Big E would love the idea of getting a trios title on WWE Raw/Smackdown given that he’s someone who has been part of The New Day trio for a long time. The faction has already become multi-time tag team champions and many among the WWE Universe dub them as one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
The current WWE Champion on WWE Raw was close friends with Brodie Lee (former WWE Superstar Luke Harper who passed away earlier this year) and had the honor to face him in the ring. During the interview, E confirmed that he’d continue to honor his former buddy while performing in the ring,
“He’s obviously someone that means a lot to me and continues to mean a lot to me. I will always try to do my best to honor him, he’s always with me.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

The New Day and The Wyatt Family (Harper’s faction during his debut) had a number of memorable battles on WWE Raw/Smackdown during their heyday, including a cinematic battle at the Wyatt compound. While E and his buddies continued to be a mainstay name on the main roster, Harper aka Lee, real name Jon Huber was released from his contract who later joined AEW to enjoy a brief stint before leaving this world.
