One of the most popular Superstars of the modern generation, Braun Strowman is back in the WWE, proving the recent speculations true of his return. Apparently, he is back under contract with the WWE and will regularly start featuring on WWE TV programming. After coming back on Raw, last night, he’s also set to make a return to WWE’s blue brand, Friday Night SmackDown.

The New Day vs. Alpha Academy vs. Los Lotharios vs. Street Profits in a Fatal-4-Way Match took place, this week on Raw to determine the new Number-one Contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships held by The Usos. The match ended in a No Contest after Braun Strowman made a sudden return during the match and attacked all the contestants.

The wreckage started with Braun Strowman interrupting the tag team contender match as he attacked Chad Gable and Otis of the Alpha Academy. In addition, he also downed several other tag teams and the security team who tried to make the rescue. The former champion hit his finisher, the running powerslam, to Angelo Dawkins through the announce table to end the segment.

Braun Strowman confirmed to appear on Smackdown

Following this, Braun Strowman was featured in another vignette from backstage as he announced to be in attendance at this week’s Smackdown, as well. The return doesn’t come as a surprise as it was reported, last week that an idea was pitched or discussed for a WWE return for the Superstar who made a name in the WWE. It was later confirmed that he was slated to be on Raw, this week from Kansas City.

It was all the way back in 2013 that Braun Strowman first joined WWE 2013 with no wrestling experience, whatsoever. As Vince McMahon was high on him, he took the least time to make a name for himself. He was paired with The Wyatt Family on the main roster to get the initial identity.

After splitting away from the faction, WWE started pushing Braun Strowman as a singles star after being drafted to Raw in 2016. He soon became an Intercontinental and Raw Tag Team Champion followed by a Money in the Bank briefcase win, as well. It was in Wrestlemania 36 in 2020 where he defeated WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg to win the Universal Championship.
