A new heel faction led by WWE Hall of Famer Edge is likely to dominate Raw for weeks to follow. The duo has aligned together on Wrestlemania 38 and they will eventually grow bigger if last night’s Raw after ‘Mania was any indication. However, an AEW Superstar wasn’t impressed by the new group.
AEW Superstar Brody King Brody King took a shot at the pairing of WWE Hall of Famer Edge and Damian Priest following WWE Raw. He did so while responding to a tweet from the WWE on FOX Twitter account that asked fans to give a name to the duo of Edge and Priest. King wrote the following in response that also mentioned the House of Black stable in AEW featuring King, Malakai Black, and Buddy Matthews,

As noted, Edge and Priest aligned on WrestleMania Sunday after Edge defeated AJ Styles, thanks to the ringside appearance made by the Archer of Infamy. Edge delivered a Spear to get the pin-fall win. Then on this week’s WWE Raw, Priest explained why it was an easy decision to show his loyalty to Edge.

Styles walked out and attacked Edge but Priest made the save. Edge laid out Styles with a spear and teased the con-chair-to but the officials came out to stop him. After what transpired on the show, Priest vs. Styles was booked for next week’s WWE Raw. There have also been some speculations about the heel faction getting bigger in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, Edge has revealed via Twitter that the seeds of his team-up with Damian Priest were originally “sown a year ago.” The Rated-R Superstar shared a picture of his backstage meeting with Priest on the February 1, 2021 episode of WWE Raw, the night the former NXT North American Champion made his official main roster debut.
A night ago, Priest appeared in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, the 2021 edition as a surprise entrant. Edge eventually won that Rumble to earn his place in the main event of WrestleMania 37, which was a Triple Threat featuring Daniel Bryan and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
