WWE Raw had a surprise in-store for Edge’s fans who debuted a piece of new theme music after almost two decades. On the Road to Wrestlemania 38, the WWE Hall of Famer shook things up in a big way for his ongoing feud against AJ Styles with this unprecedented move.

The Rated R Superstar came out to a new theme on this week’s WWE RAW that took place from the VyStar Veteran Memorials Arena in Jacksonville, Florida where he delivered a dark promo on AJ Styles ahead of their WrestleMania 38 bout for two weeks in a row. While Edge continued to spit fire with the mic, the theme change has been one of the hottest topics coming out of the show from Jacksonville.

As recognized from WWE Raw, Edge’s new theme song is “The Other Side” by Alter Bridge. His previous and signature theme, which is also one of WWE’s most popular theme songs, is the “Metalingus” by Alter Bridge. The song is also one of Alter Bridge’s most popular songs but it was never released as a singles number.

“Metalingus” is from Alter Bridge’s One Day Remains album released in 2004 while “The Other Side” is from Alter Bridge’s The Last Hero album from 2016.

WWE Raw had a pleasant surprise in Edge’s new theme song

The official Alter Bridge Twitter account posted a YouTube clip of Edge’s entrance on WWE Raw and gave a fitting caption to it which was from a part of Edge’s promo, “You think you know me… you never did!”

It’s something unlikely not to see Edge coming out with the Metallingus theme which leads us to speculate that the legendary name will bring back his old theme song after WrestleMania 38. The idea is that this new theme is for his darker character during this ongoing feud against Styles. However, nothing is confirmed regarding this.

In the meantime, AJ took to Twitter after WWE Raw and issued a warning to Edge, revealing that he will be back, next week from the Allstate Arena near Chicago, Illinois to amp things up for their program.

“Exercise judgement? Grant mercy? Sitting on a mountain of omnipotence? I don’t know where you got this garbage but one thing I will grant YOU … is fair warning. I’m coming back to #WWERaw next week and you better prepare yourself…stupid haircut, dramatic lighting, and all.”
