WWE: Raw Full Results: August 7th, 2017

The second last episode of WWE Raw was hosted last night at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The matchups for the Summerslam event were made clearer, as we now have the updated card for the event. Plus, a major build up towards the event was made in the presence of Brock Lesnar. Check out full results from the show:

WWE Raw kicked off with The Miz TV as the host was furious from Jason Jordan disrespecting him, last week. So, he demanded an apology from him on the show. Kurt Angle showed up stating that Jason will not come out. Rather, he will face Curtis Axel in a matchup, later. Miz will have Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman as his guests on the show.

The champion made his presence on Miz TV as the host went on to take cheap shots to him and his advocate, Paul Heyman. The latter one left the ring, immediately as Lesnar went on to deliver a brutal punishment on each member of The Entourage. He finished with huge F-5 on Miz.

Seth Rollins faced Sheamus in a rematch from last week. This time, the distraction from Cesaro helped his partner to pick up the win via a simple roll up. After the match, the Raw tag team champions delivered a brutal beat down to Rollins but Ambrose never came out to save.

A similar situation occurred later the night when Dean Ambrose won his scheduled matchup against Cesaro. The two heels started beating Ambrose down but Rollins came down to make the save. Once the tag champs shoved away from the ring they fist bumped to each other to a big reaction.

Bayley addressed her shoulder injury to a chorus of boos from the crowd. She confirmed that she will not compete at Summerslam due to the concussions. Two triple threat matches will take place with the winners facing each other next week to determine the new number, one contender.

In the first match, Sasha Banks pulled off the victory against Alicia Fox and Emma. The other one was quite easily won by Nia Jax. So, a match between Sasha and Nia was made official to determine Alexa Bliss’ challenger at Summerslam.

Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt had yet another confrontation in front of the crowd. The latter one gained advantage playing pure mind games to Balor and escaping the arena during a blackout. Big Show and Big Cass had yet another confrontation that led to a match at Summerslam with Enzo Amore hanging from a shark cage.

Akira Tozawa had a matchup against Ariya Daivari. He defeated his opponent in quick time via a senton off the top rope. Jason Jordan was given a matchup with a local wrestler and beat him with quite an ease.

On the main event, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman went to war in a Last Man Standing match. The fight was taken to the ringside when Samoa Joe decided to interfere and attack Reigns. The Big Dog was choked out by the coquina clutch and was unable to answer the referee’s ten-count. Strowman was declared the winner to close the show.
