The post-Money in the Bank episode of WWE Raw aired with a lot of fallouts from the pay-per-view event. It also started the buildup for the next show in-store namely WWE Super ShowDown. Apart from that, a WWE Hall of Famer was in the house to reveal a new championship. Check out the results from the show that aired from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
Brock Lesnar’s music hit the arena to kick things off for this week’s WWE Raw. The crowd loudly booed when Lesnar posed with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Seth Rollins interrupted as Paul Heyman was cutting his usual promo demanding that Brock cashes in the contract, right there. Kofi Kingston showed up pledging that Lesnar cashes in on him for a WWE title match. But Heyman informed them that nothing will happen until they are the champions.
Sami Zayn had to compete in a rematch from last week’s WWE Raw against Braun Strowman. He tried to run away but Strowman caught him in the Gorilla Position and brought him back to the ring. Zayn pushed him into the ring post for multiple occasions and the match bell rang. He set up for the Helluva Kick only to receive a clothesline. Strowman then finished off Zayn with a Running Powerslam.
Charly Caruso was doing an interview with Lars Sullivan when Lucha House Party interrupted. The trio pounced on Sullivan to seek retribution from Money in the Bank. Sullivan caught Kalisto and slammed him face-first off the apron. Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik hit Sullivan with a double suicide dive. Sullivan went for a Running Powerbomb on Dorado but Kalisto and Metallik pulled him away.
Cesaro mocked Ricochet after his war in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match leading to a match on WWE Raw. Cesaro came out in brand new theme music and targeted the mid-portion of his opponent. Ricochet came back with a jawbreaker followed by a Foxbury Flop. He went for a top rope move to eat an uppercut. Cesaro caught him with a torture rack backbreaker followed by the Gotch Neutralizer for the win.
AJ Styles featured in an interview at backstage talking about his loss against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. Corbin interrupted him trying to insult and hence received a slap to the face.
Roman Reigns came out to the ring using the Wild Card Rule. Shane McMahon showed up before he could say anything reminding his steel cage match victory against the Miz. Reigns challenged Shane for a match but that did not go down on WWE Raw. But McMahon confirmed that will happen at Super ShowDown.
The Usos vs. The Revival was the next matchup on WWE Raw. Revival attacked Usos from behind to start the match and gained control. Usos hit stereo superkicks on Dawson. Wilder broke the pinfall attempt and hit Jey Uso with a tornado DDT on the floor! Jimmy downed Dawson with a superkick before getting into a roll-up by Wilder to digest the loss.
Alexa Bliss hosted a Moment of Bliss with the guest WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Before they start talking, the IIconics and Lacey Evans cut them off causing a match. Lynch had Nikki Cross Alexa Bliss as her teammates against Lacey and the IIconics. Lacey walked out of her teammates leaving Kay with Becky in the ring. Becky hit a Bexploder on Kay before putting away Royce off the ring. Lynch then hit a diving leg drop for the win.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley made his entrance on WWE Raw to introduce a 24/7 Championship. The third hour of WWE Raw, every week will have a title match open to anyone from any roster for this title. A bunch of superstars hit the ring trying to grab it. Titus O’Neil was the first one to take it. Sooner Robert Roode rolled up Titus on the ramp to become the new champion as they ran to the back. R-Truth the pinned Roode at the backstage to possess the belt.
The Miz had a backstage confrontation against Drew McIntyre on WWE Raw to set up a match. McMahon was standing by the side of McIntyre during the match. Miz avoided the Claymore Kick and applied the Figure Four Leglock. McIntyre chopped back to get rid of the hold as McMahon provided a further distraction for the Miz. He attacked Miz when the referee was not watching. McIntyre followed up with the Claymore for the win. McMahon wanted to deliver a coast-to-coast to The Miz but Roman Reigns fended him away. He delivered a Superman Punch to McIntyre sending him for a retreat.
Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley was the main event match of this week’s WWE Raw. The heels attacked Rollins and Kingston while they were making their entrances. But the champions still prevail after Rollins took put both of them with a suicidal dive. Kingston then pinned Corbin after a Trouble on Paradise. Lashley speared both of them as Brock Lesnar appeared in the ring. Rollins and Kingston had chairs in hand to scare him away.
