Lacey Evans was set to receive a solid push in the women’s division, in early 2021 via a storyline with WWE legend Ric Flair. She was also in the line to pick up the Raw Women’s Title ahead of Wrestlemania 37. Unfortunately, that never happened since she ended up being pregnant with her husband and thereby got out of the scene.

Now that, Lacey Evans is done with his baby’s delivery, she’s probably coming back to action. The Raw superstar suggests that she’s closer to returning to WWE television but it wasn’t mentioned when she will exactly be back.

At the beginning of 2021, Lacey Evans was involved in a feud with Charlotte Flair. The angle also saw Evans being romantically involved with Charlotte’s father, Ric Flair. Then in an episode of February, the pregnancy news was announced while it was hinted that Ric Flair may have been the storyline father of Evans’ baby. But then the reality was declared as Ric denied those speculations and thereby the storyline was totally abandoned.

Reports claimed that the storyline involving Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair was leading to a championship match at WrestleMania 37. Evans was just days away from challenging Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view who was apparently set to win the belt. But then she announced her pregnancy and possibly lost that title match opportunity. Asuka then lost the Raw Women’s Title at ‘Mania to Rhea Ripley.
