Natalya is the most veteran wrestler present in the WWE Raw/Smackdown women’s division who’s been competing in the company for well over a decade. Starting in the year 2006, she’s still active and a regular performer on WWE TV which is an incredible feat. Earlier this year, she also accomplished the feat of becoming a WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion along with Tamina Snuka.
During that run, she suffered an unfortunate ankle injury on WWE Raw but made a very quick recovery from it. The injury also brought to an end to her title run in a kayfabe way. It seems that Natalya has also dealt with her mother having a successful surgery. Going by the looks, the Hart Dungeon lady has suffered a similar to that of pro-wrestlers.

Natalya took to Instagram, recently and revealed that her mother had successful surgery after tearing her Achilles’ tendon. No specific reason was revealed behind the tear while we expect to learn about it if WWE renews a new season of Total Divas. For now, Nattie gave a salute to her mother’s toughness and how Nattie Sr. has always inspired her.

“I’m so proud of how strong my mom is. She’s truly one a kind!! She injured her Achilles’ tendon (completely tore it and said she was “fine” after ???) Today she had a successful surgery. She’s so tough, and I’m so inspired by how well she’s handled all of this. In our house, it seems when anyone has a surgery or an injury, we all want to power through (cough cough @tjwilson711 and @harttotable!!)”
Natalya was defeated by Doudrop, last month on WWE RAW which was her final match on TV for the time being. This was a Queen’s Crown tournament semi-finale qualifier and a loss left the veteran out of the equation. With the determination, we’re pretty sure that she will be back for the crown when the next season of this tourney takes place.
Natalya was sent to Smackdown from WWE Raw brand during the Draft 2021. While she hasn’t been used much on television, she continues to be a veteran on the roster who will continue to help out younger talents. On the other hand, her husband, TJ Wilson is a backstage producer who helps the female wrestlers to put up some great matchups.
