For weeks now, WWE has been airing vignettes about the next big Indian superstar in the form of Veer Mahaan. Going by the vignettes, he could be built up as the next top talent on the Raw roster. However, in reality, no plan is set for him, and the recent illness for top creative team head, Bruce Prichard can cause further delays around his next TV appearance.

Veer was originally a part of Jinder Mahal’s stable on RAW (along with Dilsher Shanky), but they got separated during the Draft 2021. Jinder and Shanky were drafted to SmackDown, while Veer remained on RAW. Since then, WWE has been airing promos for his upcoming singles run on RAW who is being repackaged as Veer Mahaan.

The Indian Superstar has recent WWE Main Event wins over Cedric Alexander, John Morrison, and T-BAR and he has also been backstage for several recent RAW tapings, and even on those episodes where he was not booked for Main Event but obviously, his luck didn’t favor him for a TV appearance.

Veer Mahaan is originally known by his real name of Rinku Singh Veer, who is best known for “Million Dollar Arm” movie and reality TV show. He was signed by WWE in January 2018 after a stint with the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball organization. At one point, he performed as part of the WWE NXT tag team Indus Sher, but then he was called to the main roster in May of 2021.
