WWE Raw has been missing the star power of Kevin Owens for the past few weeks but things should change starting with this week. As per the recent reports, the top Superstar of the red brand is scheduled to make an appearance on the show scheduled from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

According to the reports by Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select, a KO Show segment is planned to take place on tonight’s episode, as of Sunday night. Owens hasn’t been advertised to appear on the show by WWE but he has been listed internally on the rundown for the show.

It’s likely WWE didn’t pre-advertise him on WWE Raw since there was some uncertainty over his appearance, prior to this. Besides, his return would also happen in a surprising capacity. We will have to wait till tonight to see how WWE will book things for him.

The source mentioned that plans could change for WWE Raw in due course,

“Kevin Owens hasn’t been seen on WWE programming in nearly a month, and was pulled from the June 26 episode of WWE Raw. Fightful Select has learned that as of Sunday night, a “KO Show” segment was planned for WWE Raw for July 18. Thus far, Owens has not been advertised by WWE as appearing on the event. As often happens in wrestling, plans can be changed.”

KO-Ezekiel storyline to continue on WWE Raw

It was added by Fightful that a segment for Ezekiel was planned for last week’s WWE Raw but it was eventually nixed due to Owens’ unavailability. Elias’ younger brother would interrupt the KO Show segment this week to stretch out the Owens – Elias/Ezekiel/Elrod storyline.

Originally, Owens was supposed to face Ezekiel in a Money in the Bank qualifier on an episode of WWE Raw in late June but that match was pulled out of action over a reported minor injury that was never confirmed by the WWE.

WWE Raw advertised KO to wrestle either Elias, Ezekiel, or Elrod in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on the June 26 episode. But due to KO’s absence, a Last Chance Battle Royal took place to determine the final spot in the ladder match, which Riddle won. Afterward, Dave Meltzer reported about the minor issue and that he would not miss much time due to it.
