It has been noted that we may have seen enough of this dark character who rules the squared circle for good. A suitable alteration to the current character may be welcomed to the fans, after all, which was also discussed between The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin in a recent edition of Broken Skull Sessions. “As mentioned in the recording they did between The Undertaker and Steve Austin that The Undertaker is leading into another run, shall we say.

He has this particular way of doing things but he wants to have some longevity and maybe The Undertaker character isn’t right anymore. The American Badass is unlikely to return. It was much for the time. It was created to sort of keep him going for the Attitude Era.

The process of bringing back the American Badass could have started slowly since the beginning of this rivalry against AJ Styles.

He mentioned The Undertaker by his real name of Mark Callaway which was a first time thing on WWE TV. Plus, Styles has been calling out Michelle McCool, real-life wife of ‘Taker. This may be an indication that a slow but steady transition is reserved for the Deadman character to the one who sports Head Bandanas.

Renee Young recently noted on Twitter wanting to see the American Badass character back on TV and Michelle McCool also gave a nod to the change. The Undertaker has been doing The Deadman gimmick continuously for 16 years now. The Big Evil character was dropped where he returned as The Deadman in 2004 at WrestleMania 20.
