WWE: Reason Why The Miz Would Miss Extreme Rules PPV Event
Jun 7, 2023 at 12:36 PM
The Miz is one of the most bankable superstars present in the WWE. He has already spent more than a decade in the company with good work ethics.
So, the officials of the company value him a lot. This is why he is already proved his worth as the Intercontinental Champion (IC). We might have him as the all-time great with the IC title at one point in his future.
Currently, The A-lister is just two runs away from winning the IC title for a record 10 time.
Apart from his WWE works, The Miz is no stranger to the mainstream world as well. He has already established himself as a Hollywood star.
The Marine franchise now belongs to him after John Cena. When it comes to the Hollywood red-carpet events, this name is no stranger.
Be it the ESPYs or hosting MTV shows, Miz always remains the front-runner in doing so. One such event will block him from appearing WWE’s next PPV event, Extreme Rules.
Moreover, it will take place at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Sunday night. The current reports are suggesting that one of the biggest names will miss the show.
Per PWInsider.com, we will not see the former Intercontinental Champion at the PPV show. He will be busy attending a mainstream event.

“It’s now being reported that The Miz has been booked to participate in the All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game which takes place in at Nationals Park, in Washington, DC at 4 pm on July 15th—the very same day on which the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event is set to transpire.”
This game will be a part of the ongoing Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
ESPN will broadcast in a taped format on July 16th. Another added attraction on this event will be rapper Snoop Dogg.
The hip-hop icon and WWE Celebrity Wing Hall-of-Fame member is likely to grace the show with his presence. Although, it’s still not official.
Rumours suggested that The Miz will interfere in Daniel Bryan’s match at the Extreme Rules PPV to set up a program for Summerslam.
