The pro-wrestling world, as well as the sports world, was in awe to learn Ronda Rousey appearing in the WWE. Out of nowhere, she made an appearance at the end of the Royal Rumble match confronting the champions and Asuka leaving the world speculating about the Wrestlemania 34 scenario.

It was also disclosed that she have signed a deal with the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world.

This certainly means that we will be seeing more of her in the squared circle in the near future. Her presence will also take the female division one step ahead of the main event of Wrestlemania which was untouched to them, thus far.

This, in turn, will cause a huge change in booking, going forward.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted on Ronda Rousey’s status in the WWE.

According to him, WWE women’s roster to receive a huge push following the inclusion of the former UFC Bantamweight Champion on their roster.

At this time, the newest member of WWE family is considered to be the ‘biggest mainstream star’.

So, she will be bringing more audience to the WWE TV programming. The female superstars will be booked to deliver some big-time performances that the audience will like to see.

This would be a desperate try by the officials to give the MMA performer the biggest platform where she can perform and get valiant opponents.

Meltzer also noted on her deal with the WWE. He pointed out that Rousey has recently stated that she wants to perform on a sporadic basis in order to have kids and start a family.

So, it might not be likely that she will start to feature in every show conducted by WWE Raw.

“But I don’t know if full-time means going on the road and doing that wrestler’s schedule and in a sense, I don’t know if that’s a good thing, or it’s just the Lesnar schedule — the Lesnar schedule makes no sense for everyone involved. And there’s a lot to this. She said she could make more money doing other things — obviously fighting.”

Going by the source, the deal between Ronda and WWE was made a long time ago which was penned a few days ago prior to the Royal Rumble PPV.

This allowed her to finally make the debut inside the squared circle and preparing for Wrestlemania.
