In the main event this past weekend’s Royal Rumble 2022 premium live event, Brock Lesnar won the Men’s Royal Rumble match and cemented his headlining spot at Wrestlemania 38. En route this huge win from his career, the top WWE Superstar sets four separate records which are given below:
– Lesnar became the 4th man in WWE history to win the Men’s Royal Rumble match from the number-30 spot. The other three superstars to do this are The Undertaker (2007), John Cena (2008), and Triple H (2016).
– He also joined “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Batista, Triple H, Randy Orton, and Edge on the list of men who have won the Royal Rumble match more than once.
– Lesnar now holds the record for the longest gap between 2 Royal Rumble victories – 19 years (2003 and 2022). The previous record was set by Triple H for 14 years. (2002 and 2016)
– The Beast has set another record by winning the Royal Rumble 2022 match by spending the least time in it. The previous record was held by Edge in 2010 who entered at number-29 spot. The new record set by Lesnar is for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

– Roman Reigns lost a PPV match for the first time in 2 years. His last PPV loss was at Royal Rumble 2020. He won his scheduled match against Baron Corbin but then he failed to win the Rumble match. As for Royal Rumble 2022, he lost via DQ to Seth Rollins.
– Dolph Ziggler competed in his 15th Royal Rumble match, while Kofi Kingston competed in his 14th Royal Rumble. These two superstars now hold the 2nd and 3rd position on the list of wrestlers who have competed in the most Royal Rumble matches. Kane is the number-one on this list with 20 Rumble appearances.
– Natalya got banged up during the Women’s Royal Rumble 2022 match which saw her getting eliminated twice from the match by Ronda Rousey which was another record set by The Queen of Harts.

– Bianca Belair became the woman to spend the longest time in the Women’s Royal Rumble 2022 match at 47:30.
