WWE Rumor: A WWE Hall Of Famer To Return On WWE Raw With Hulk Hogan

WWE Raw is hyping up the upcoming episode with multiple big announcements. There will be multiple returns on one single night which marks the first edition for 2019. Names like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss is coming back to kick off this year for WWE Raw on a big note.

It comes as a desperate move from the WWE officials to drag the TV ratings up for the show. It dealt with a lot of declines in ratings in the fourth quarter of 2018. So they are out to ‘load up’ the card as much as possible. This is why a special segment would be there to pay homage to a legend who just passed away. Mean Gene Okerlund is the concerned name.

Hulk Hogan will be on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw to honor the ‘best partner’ of his life. These two shared a lot of times together while working in WCW and WWE. This partnership was something to remember forever. So there’s no one better than Hulk Hogan to pay tribute to the greatest interviewer in the history of the pro-wrestling industry.

Now it seems like another legend will be present in this segment on WWE Raw alongside Hulk Hogan. PWInsider.com has reported that Ric Flair will attend this week’s episode. It is still unknown in which capacity WWE officials will use him. But the expectation is that he will join Hogan to take us back to the memories that Mean Gene Okerlund has left behind.

Ric Flair has made one last televised appearance on the Smackdown 1000th episode. He was present during WWE Tribute to the Troops. Now he might be back on TV one more time on a night that might see a galore of stars, together. Reportedly, WWE is trying to gather a line of returnees to celebrate the life of Mean Gene Okerlund.

Earlier, TMZ.com has reported that the veteran interviewer had a nasty fall in December. It turned out to be the sole reason behind his death, last week. The fall caused various health issues for this iconic figure whom we also know as a WWE Hall of Famer. He passed away at the age of 76 years old.

We should note that Hulk Hogan is also the one who inducted Mean Gene Okerlund into the Hall of Fame back in 2006. So it’s only fitting that the Immortal One reminisces his memory. It’s also worth to note that it’s his first appearance on WWE Raw since 2015. He returned on WWE TV in November at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. So this is the first time we will hear how the USA fans react to Hogan’s return to WWE TV.
