WWE Rumor: Brock Lesnar Will Not Leave The WWE After Summerslam

Arindam Paul / 03 August 2017

On this week’s WWE Raw, Brock Lesnar made a surprise return to reveal his view on the upcoming WWE Universal Championship match. Kurt Angle was in the middle of his homecoming speech in the middle of the ring in Pittsburgh when the reigning champion decided to interrupt him with his advocate, Paul Heyman.

The championship match at Summerslam has already been confirmed by the Raw GM and it is going to be a fatal-4-way match where Brock Lesnar will have to defend against three big names from the Raw who are Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman.

So, practically this match will be contested with a no disqualification rules where anything will be legal. Plus, the champion will not have any advantage whatsoever. He will not have to get involved in pinfall or submission while losing the title. Being the prize fighter of the company, Brock Lesnar can’t accept this type of championship defence and hence went on to take a major decision.

As stated by his attorney, Paul Heyman, if somehow the beast is dethroned from his championship reign, at Summerslam then he will be leaving WWE. Heyman being extremely loyal to his client will also leave the company which means that WWE will lose his biggest box office attraction that he is for the past number of years.

However, this is can be considered as completely from a storyline perspective and is not for real, at all. Brock Lesnar is still being advertised to appear in Raw shows once the Summerslam event is concluded and the No Mercy PPV which is an indication that he will still be under WWE’s contract once the biggest party of the summer is over.

So, the chances of the conqueror come out on top following the Summerslam PPV are quite well. It is being rumoured that the likes of Finn Balor or Braun Strowman are going to be his next probable opponent at the next Raw-exclusive PPV in the month of September. But, before that, we have to wait for the outcome of the biggest event of the summer.
