This past episode of WWE Raw witnessed more storyline progress to the Elimination Chamber PPV which is going to be the last Raw-exclusive PPV prior to Wrestlemania 34. At this point, we are set to receive two historical matches on February 25th night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
From the men’s Elimination Chamber match, there will be seven competitors participating in it which will be the first-ever thing. The winner will get to face Brock Lesnar at the Wrestlemania event.
From the women’s division, six participants are set to create history by competing inside the chamber structure for the first-time, ever, too. Alexa Bliss will be defending her title inside the demonic cage.
With the Wrestlemania implications being added to this PPV, rumors are higher with the possibilities of whether Undertaker will make his return to compete in more match or not. This is one night of the year where the Deadman rises, indeed.
However, after last year’s loss to Roman Reigns, he is said to be retired.
But, the recent report from cagesideseats.com, that is not the case as the Phenome will indeed return to get involved in a storyline against none other than John Cena.
The speculations of Cena vs. Taker match are wilder than ever and WWE might have given the green signal to it.
As per the report, John Cena’s promo on this past edition of WWE Raw was the indication of the same. While speaking of his Road to Wrestlemania, the Cenation Leader doubted of having a match if he does not win the Elimination Chamber match.
He also stated, “WrestleMania can bring a legend back from the dead!” which might be a confirmed hint of this dream match.
So, there’s definitely a backstage planning going on this much-anticipated contest, (courtesy SportsKeeda.com)
“He went on to suggest that if he lost at Elimination Chamber, he had no way of making it to WrestleMania. This leads us to believe in the report that we’ve linked in this article, suggesting that The Undertaker and John Cena are on a collision course because Roman Reigns is slated to win at Elimination Chamber.”
It is likely that the storyline angle will begin only when the Chamber PPV gets over and the official Wrestlemania angles begin on both Raw and Smackdown. Until then, we have to wait for the confirmation.
