Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair have been the mainstays on WWE Raw/WWE Smackdown for the past few months following the Draft. They have already delivered some of the most iconic moments in WWE history. But their in-ring persona was overshadowed by the ongoing real-life heat between the two of them. Multiple reports are out noting how their previous friendship had gone on to become sour.
Now more proof is available on the same after what went down between the two following WWE Smackdown, this past week. The Friday night episode at the Staples Center got to see a fatal-4-way dark match featuring SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks.
Liv Morgan Reflects Upon Controversial Comments On WWE Raw
This match was loaded with star power with two Raw superstars as WWE wanted to make up for Roman Reigns’ absence as he’s on a one-week absence. Also, Jeff Hardy was not at the show after being suddenly released by the company.
The fatal-4-way match witnessed Sasha Banks pulling off the win to send the crowd home happy but a clip went viral from that match from WWE Smackdown dark segment. Charlotte Flair made it clear in it that she and Lynch are still not on good terms. While leaving after the match, Flair apparently dropped the Raw Women’s Title in front of Lynch instead of handing it to her. Lynch was the one to suffer the rare pinfall loss in that match.

Flair and Lynch had a scene at WWE Smackdown
As reported earlier, Lynch and Flair got into a heated backstage argument during the post-Crown Jewel WWE SmackDown in late October after their “title exchange” segment. Flair was the one who reportedly went off script and dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title that was being handed to her by Lynch. It was an attempt to let down Big Time Becks.
While speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour, the current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion talked about her bitter relationship with Lynch. She also revealed the reason why their bond is lost,
“Here is how I see it. You have two women at the top of their game and both of them want to be the best. So who is the best? Competition breeds competition, and I think we simply got older and not necessarily that success will not affect your ego and that is why you lose a friendship. It’ is simply that we both want to be on top, and there is only room for one.”
