SmackDown and RAW will go head to head against each other at Survivor Series 2020. Despite the rumors of WWE phasing out of the brand vs brand war in the 2020 edition, the company kept the theme intact just like the past several years.
This is the yearly pay-per-view where both brands will face each other for supremacy. AJ Styles previously claimed to be the Team Captain from the red side while now we have another self-proclaimed name who wants to lead the blue brigade.

WWE Survivor Series 2020: Team Captain revealed for Smackdown?
During Talking Smack this week, Seth Rollins declared himself to be the Captain of Team SmackDown for Survivor Series 2020. He mentioned how there’s only one great leader on Team Blue, and that is him. This is a claim from his side which is obviously not an official announcement from WWE, just yet. Perhaps there will be more fallouts waiting on this matter when the next episode of Smackdown airs this Friday on FOX.

“Let’s be honest. I know everyone thinks they’re leading and that’s fair. I appreciate that, I like that gamesmanship. But the truth is there’s only one great leader, one great redeemer and that is me. I will be leading Team SmackDown – for the first time in my career, mind you, against Team RAW at Survivor Series 2020,” stated Rollins.
As mentioned above, AJ Styles tried the same thing over on RAW by declaring himself to be the Team Captain. Despite his efforts, it wasn’t officiated yet and remained as a self-appointed task, only.
We’ll have to see how WWE plans to carry out the Survivor Series 2020 edition by the end of this month which should be the final PPV event at the WWE ThunderDome. Seth Rollins seems pretty confident to be the team leader of Smackdown, at this point.
