Sheamus is the final member of Team SmackDown from the men’s division at WWE Survivor Series 2021. Over on this week’s SmackDown on FOX from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut, Sheamus defeated Cesaro, Jinder Mahal, and Ricochet in a Fatal 4 Way to earn the final spot on the mean’s Team SmackDown.

Cesaro was rolling in the match with his Cesaro Swing move when the blue brand newcomer and Sheamus’ fellow Irishman Ridge Holland appeared at ringside. Cesaro was distracted as The Celtic Warrior hit his pendant Brogue Kick on Cesaro for the victory. Sheamus has replaced Sami Zayn, who was removed from WWE Survivor Series 2021 team after losing to Jeff Hardy last Friday night.

Sheamus has thereby joined Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, King Xavier Woods, and Happy Baron Corbin for the 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match from the men’s division. This team will go up against Team RAW’s Bobby Lashley, Austin Theory, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins.
WWE Survivor Series 2021 go-home edition of Smackdown marked the in-ring TV return of The Celtic Warrior has not wrestled on TV since the September 27 edition of RAW. He underwent a second nose surgery at the end of September while the original injury occurred in May. Thereafter, it got re-aggravated a few times since then. Sheamus then was back to action on the WWE UK tour, two weeks ago.
The storyline with Ridge Holland also continued following the help during the Fatal-4-Way. Holland said that Sheamus is his idol, and if it wasn’t for Sheamus, he might not arrive in the WWE in the first place. He also declared that if anyone has a problem with Sheamus, he’d have a problem with him.
