WWE TLC 2020 edition took place last night where usage of Tables, Ladders, and Chairs was absolutely legal. WWE and The Universal Championship were on the line under TLC rules while an Inferno Match was also on the card. Three more titles were also on the card of the show that aired from the Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida.

TLC Match for the WWE Title
AJ Styles with Omos vs. Drew McIntyre (c)
Drew McIntyre was hurt in the match, earlier as AJ attacked him with a ladder. AJ then locked in the Calf Crusher with a ladder bridge to further punish him. McIntyre then tossed him with a belly-to-belly suplex but AJ countered with a Phenomenal Forearm.
The Miz ran down with Money In the Bank briefcase and beat down McIntyre. The referee announced he was cashing in his briefcase and the match became a Triple Threat. In the end, McIntyre pulled AJ off the ladder and then dropped The Miz with a Claymore Kick. He climbed the ladder to retain his title at WWE TLC 2020.

SmackDown Women’s Title Match
Carmella vs. Sasha Banks (c)
Sasha had her pendant submission applied on Carmella but the challenger backfired by sending her face-first with a Facebuster. Banks then went for the Submission again when the sommelier pulled Mella out of the hold. Banks took him out but Carmella Superkick-ed her. Banks kicked out, blocked a Facebuster, and then applied the Bank Statement submission for the win to retain at WWE TLC 2020.
