Total Bellas is a spin-off series of WWE Total Divas which followed the lives of WWE Superstars Nikki and Brie Bella. The fans had the opportunity to go through the lives of the two popular superstars even after their time in the ring came to an end, a number of years ago. The show was a hit on E Network earning more fans for the Bella sisters. Now it appears that the series is indeed coming to a close on a ride with Nikki and Brie Bella as their time in WWE drew to a close.

As reported earlier, Brie and Nikki Bella already hinted the same in a recent interview with Deidre Behar of ET Online. The WWE Hall of Famers expressed their desire to end their reality show Total Bellas “sooner than later.” The reason behind their decision was let known, too. Apparently, their children and respective male partners don’t want cameras around them, anymore.

E Network reportedly canceling WWE Total Bellas

In an update, Dave Meltzer spoke on Wrestling Observer Radio that Nikki and Brie Bella talked about how they wanted to quit the Total Bellas show. It appears that they might not have had much of a choice in this case as word is out that E Network itself is considering the option of not renewing another season for the popular reality TV series.

“What I had heard was E! also had not committed to picking the show up [for another season]. So it all works out…the show isn’t officially done, but all signs lead to it probably being done. I could pretty much say that people had thought that was a factor whatever Bryan Danielson was going to do and it’s not a factor.

That show is a non-factor because I think they pretty much knew the show was going to be over for a while. This isn’t…they said it for the first time publicly today. I don’t want to say it’s 100% known for a couple of months, but pretty much I think it was known after the last season,” elaborated Meltzer.

WWE Total Bellas Is Reportedly Getting Cancelled 2

Back on April 20, 2016, it was announced that former WWE wrestlers The Bella Twins would be getting a spin-off series from Total Divas, entitled Total Bellas. The first season of the show premiered on October 5, 2016, as it revolved around the lives of the twins and their families. The sixth season premiered on November 12, 2020, and no update has been given around the seventh season.

It should be noted that Total Bellas viewership had fallen dramatically since John Cena left the show. It was back in April 2018 that Nikki Bella had a much-publicized breakup with the former WWE franchise player after which he was no more seen on the show. The twins kept the interest going for the viewers with their pregnancies, but then again the show airs with such a gap between reality and what plays on television which is bound to make the audience impatient.
