Despite the coronavirus pandemic, WWE tried to present WrestleMania in the biggest way possible. They hosted the taped show across two nights that brought actions for almost eight and a half hours. (including the Kickoff Shows) Apart from the scheduled matches and segments, WWE wanted Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan to be present at this year’s taped WrestleMania 36 event.
WWE officials were desperate to bring in The Hulkster for the most unique edition of WrestleMania, this year. But they could not agree on ‘financial term’ for a deal, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Hulk Hogan WrestleMania 36 deal could have come to fruition for a special appearance, not for a match. No confirmations have been received on what WWE had in mind for the legendary name.
The 66-year-old has openly admitted of training for one final match at a WrestleMania event within a year or two, from now. The training sessions continued as Hulk Hogan recently revealed that he suffered a torn right biceps while training hard.
There’s no update on whether he talked about a match with Vince McMahon, in recent times. But his thoughts would have been turned down considering WWE’s strict medical policy.

Hulk Hogan was originally going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time during WrestleMania 36 Weekend alongside nWo members Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman.
But the most prestigious ceremony of the year was canceled from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is currently being rumored for the SummerSlam Weekend in August.
The last time Hulk Hogan has appeared on WWE programming was during the 2019 fall to get involved in the Crown Jewel 2020 pay-per-view event. He led a team of five superstars to compete in a tag match against five other competitors on behalf of another team led by Ric Flair.
For quite sometimes, the Immortal One has been campaigning to close out his in-ring career in a match in the WWE. But The Boss has not listened to his pledge and he might not move from his stance considering the growing age of Hogan.
