The finishing of Smackdown Live witnessed a massive statement from the Lone Wolf, Baron Corbin. Shinsuke Nakamura won the main event match of the night and he was celebrating in the middle of the ring.

However, the celebration got short-lived once The Lone Wolf hit the ring and hit Nakamura with the End of Days. He stood tall as the show came to an end. However, there were more in store for the fans in attendance.

As part of the dark match after Smackdown, WWE reserves some marquee matches or segments with mainstay players to send the crowd home on a happier note. Last night it was Jinder Mahal who took on the Viper, Randy Orton for the crowd, exclusively.

Orton came down to the ring, first following Mahal who was joined by the Singh Brothers. One of the brothers cut a promo stating that Jinder’s presence was enough for the crowd. The fans continued to boo the champion prior to the start of the matchup.

Orton tried to play some mind games over Jinder by signing autographs for the fans before the contest started. Aftermath, the bell rang and the match was underway but Orton pushed his opponent taking the fight outside the ring.

They brawled at the ringside area for quite sometimes before Jinder was sent inside the ring. The Apex Predator did not take much time to hit an RKO on Jinder. But, the Singh Brothers broke the pinfall by letting the contest into a disqualification. Orton delivered RKO to both of the Singh brothers to end the show on a happy note.

On the Talking Smack show, Lana joined Renee Young and Shane McMahon on the show, for the first time. She advised Naomi to be careful since she has arrived on the roster to make Smackdown a Ravishing brand.

AJ Styles was the final guest on the show who could not wait to compete in his first-ever Money in the Bank ladder match. He was happy to seek his redemption against Dolph Ziggler. Renee also asked him about his planning about cashing in the briefcase, if he wins. He concluded by saying that it depends on how his body feels on that night after competing in the ladder match.
