Alexa Bliss hasn’t been in action on WWE programming for almost a month. The last time she wrestled in a match to drop the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships along with Nikki Cross to the Kabuki Warriors – Asuka and Kairi Sane. The match took place at Hell in a Cell on October 6th which appeared to be her last match, for now as an injury is bothering her.
According to an official update given by the WWE, Alexa Bliss is will be back shortly. She might be dealing with a minor injury which was not disclosed,
“Alexa Bliss recently sustained an undisclosed injury, as first reported on WWE Backstage on Tuesday. However, the ailment is minor and she is expected to return to action soon,” the report reads.
As noted by PWInsider.com, Alexa Bliss is dealing with a shoulder injury. However, the former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion denied of any such injuries and rather advised the source to drag attention from worrying about her career. Apparently, that was a desperate try from The Goddess to hide her issue. Hours later, she responded to a fan admitting of having an injury in her ‘pinky toe’.
Meanwhile, reports are doing around the internet suggesting that her wrestling career may not continue to a longer extent. With quite a few concussions bothering her over the years, the backstage belief is that her in-ring career is in a jeopardized state. Here’s more from Brad Shepard regarding Alexa Bliss,
“According to a source in #WWE, Alexa Bliss is medically cleared for in-ring action (and scheduled to return in mid-November after the Euro tour as I reported), however, I’m told the internal belief is she won’t last in the ring beyond another few years, due to her injury history.”
The good news is that doctors have already cleared her to be back in action in recent weeks. Alexa Bliss should compete once again around mid-November or so if everything around her remains all right. Meanwhile, we can only pray that a young career like must not come to an end just like it happened in the case of Paige, last year.
