The Big Dog arrived at Wrestlemania 35 to own his yard back from a Scottish Psychopath. It was redemption time for Roman Reigns who suffered numerous beatdowns from Drew McIntyre in recent times. Thankfully, he was able to put down the biggest heel of the Raw roster by the end of their scheduled matchup.

Roman Reigns got a pyro-oriented entrance with his usual fist-bump pose on the ramp at Wrestlemania 35. After entering the match, Drew McIntyre took control of the match. He missed a Drive-By attempt hitting hard himself on the apron. McIntyre countered another attempt for a spear with a spinebuster to make the situation worse for his opponent.

Eventually, Roman Reigns countered dropping his opponent with a Samoan Drop outside the ring. He followed with the Drive-By and set up Drew McIntyre for Superman Punch. But he came back with a Glasgow Kiss that could not resist Reigns from delivering a Superman Punch. A spear was up next for The Big Dog who got the big win at Wrestlemania 35.

Wrestlemania marked the first solo contest of Roman Reigns since coming back to WWE from Leukemia. He showed up on Monday Night Raw during the February 25th episode to confirm putting back the disease in remission. Thereafter, we received the final reunion of The Shield at Fastlane where they picked up a dominant win.

The feel-good comeback story soon became a nightmare for Roman Reigns from the very next day onwards. Thanks to Drew McIntyre, we have seen him in such a position that he has never been in his entire career. The former NXT Champion dominated The Big Dog for three weeks in a row.

It’s a rare thing for the franchise player of the company that set up the Wrestlemania matchup, last night. Drew McIntyre has been in a warpath to establish himself as the new Big Dog in the yard and hence nobody could stop in the last few weeks. He had all the momentums by his side heading into the biggest match of his career. However, the outcome turned out to be pretty different as Roman Reigns secured a huge solo win since last year’s Hell in a Cell PPV.
