Payback was waiting for Dave Batista as he headed into Wrestlemania 35. Karma got to him big-time in the form of Ric Flair who helped Triple H to save his career. He also picked up the first solo win against The Animal in the WWE history which may mark the final match of Batista. However, it is yet to get official from WWE context.

Both Batista and Triple received grand entrances in this Wrestlemania 35 encounter. Shawn Michaels was present at the commentary table who received a threat from The Animal before the match started. Triple H had the early momentums by pulling off the nose-ring of his opponent with a plier. He also hit hard Batista with chains in hand followed by a spear through the announce table.

He hit a DDT and called for the powerbomb when Ric Flair showed up handing away the Sledge Hammer to The Game. We revisited one of the old rivalries from WWE’s Ruthless Aggression Era at Wrestlemania 35. Both Triple H and Batista were the cornerstones of that generation’s locker room who met in the squares circle, once again. This time around the feud has become once again personal with their mentor Ric Flair involved in it.

Batista attacked Flair on his 70th birthday occasion on WWE Raw while returning to the company. It marked the beginning of the feud against Triple H for the Wrestlemania 35 season. It happened on The Animal’s terms as he begged for one final encounter with The Game to close his career on a high note.

Additionally, the mind-games from Batista continued as he demanded the stipulation of the match. He forced Triple H to put his career on the line in this Wrestlemania match which already had a No Holds Barred capacity. But the WWE COO did not back down from the challenge and did so at the same venue where his career was in jeopardy, six years ago. In the end, he was able to revert back the same outcome of the match via the help of her mentor, Ric Flair.
