With Wrestlemania 40 almost here, there are speculations about Stone Cold Steve Austin making an appearance on the show. The WWE Hall of Famer remains the biggest star attraction on WWE TV even after retiring more than two decades ago and now he could probably have the right capacity to make an appearance.
Austin made a surprise return to in-ring action at WrestleMania 38 for a match against Kevin Owens for his retirement. However, he hasn’t competed since then despite being in good shape and despite the rumors suggesting that more matches are reserved for him. Now, it appears that he could be back to stand against The Bloodline at Wrestlemania 40.
On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn, New York, The Rock and his cousin the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns laid waste to Cody Rhodes and his tag team partner Seth Rollins. After The main event of Raw before Wrestlemania 40 witnessed Seth Rollins vs. Solo Sikoa ending in a No Contest Rock and Roman took a weight belt to beat down their current rivals.

Stone Cold Steve Austin to save Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 40?
In an update to the situation, Cody Rhodes could be looking to get some revenge against The Bloodline with help from Stone Cold Steve Austin as the latter has an illustrious history with The Rock. The theory arrived after Austin posted a video to reveal that someone left him a basket of beer. Fans are now speculating that Cody would leave him with those beers and request his help against The Bloodline at Wrestlemania 40.

In a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WrestleMania 40 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will feature involvement from legendary names. Among those names appearances are likely to happen from Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, and several others so that a star-studded lineup could be offered,
“There is no creative locked in for Cena and Austin at this moment, or if there is it’s a well-guarded secret. A lot depends on how much they are willing to do and money. Cena is free but depending on what acting stuff he has and how quick after he’s filming would determine how much he can or can’t do for insurance reasons. Austin and Undertaker would be based on willingness that they have.”
