This match had been booked as the third match of the Night 2 of WrestleMania XL. A lot of fans expected this match that this match could be the show stealer as both of these performers had the potential to provide five star matches.
This had been a pretty personal match. They did enough to promote this match well and make it a WrestleMania worthy build up. About the match, it had been quite engaging from the very first minute. Both stars had their moments one by one. They tried really hard to hook the crowd. The Philadelphia crowd had been pretty mild since yesterday.
At a point, AJ Styles started targeting the left leg of AJ Styles which gave the feel of a classic wrestling match. This had been an excellent match overall. There was only one complain about it, there had not been enough near falls. But this match can be an example that great matches can be produced without near falls.
Both wrestlers had been pretty excellent and on top their games. This was one of the best performances of Knight’s career so far who pinned AJ Styles after a BFT. This match can definitely help Knight to become a future top star of WWE and he really needed this big victory.
