Chris Gayle is one name that comes into our mind when we talk about hitting sixes in IPL. He couldn’t show his class this season due to injury problems but there were other players who tried filling his spot.
Before the season started we had just 3 players who had hit 100 or more sixes in IPL, but now there are 6 in the list and we can expect 1 more to be added by the end of this season.

Yuraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan and MS Dhoni are 3 new entrants in the 100+ club of players to hit most sixes in IPL. Shane Watson and Sehwag are closest to enter this club, but as Watson’s team couldn’t qualify we can still expect Sehwag to hit 5 more sixes as his team has made it to the play-offs.
