Scoring a century in their 100th Test match is a dream and till date only 8 players have managed to do this. Cowdrey was the first player to do this , way back in 1968 against Australia and the latest player to be in this club is Graeme Smith . Javed Miandad is the first Pakistani batsman to have done this. He did it against India at Lahore in 1989, when he scored 145. Explosive West Indian Gordon Greenidge is the only West Indian to feature in this list and he did it against England in 1994.
The other highlight is that there have been 2 Pakistani batsman, Javed Miandad and Inzamam ul Haq , to have scored a century in their 100th Test match and both of them have done it against India. Graeme Smith remains to be the only batsman fro South Africa to have achieved this feat.
The highest score in the 100th Test match till now is 184 runs and that is by Inzamam ul Haq. Also, Ricky Potnting is the only Australian to feature in this list and he remains the only player to have scored a century in both the innings of his 100th Test match.
