We have heard the popular catch phrase occasionally used in WWE ‘Best for Business.’ Yes, it is right, WWE is actually a business. In this article, we will take a look at the five richest men in the history of this ‘business.’

Note* No McMahons have been included –

5. Kurt Angle (Net Property – $20m) Richest WWE Superstar – The former Olympic gold medalist and a former five times WWE world champion who currently works with Total Nonstop Action (TNA) gets the fifth position of this list. Kurt Angle had a very bright career in professional wrestling as well as his previous career at freestyle wrestling, as we all know he won the Gold medal in 1996 Olympic events on freestyle wrestling. Angle is still well paid by Dixie Carter and no wonder he is a $20m man.

Triple H (Net Property – $25m) Richest WWE Superstar  – Triple H aka Paul Levesque is a former thirteen times world champion under WWE and in his nineteen year old WWE career ‘the Game’ has achieved a lot. Triple H does not wrestle regularly nowadays but he has a lot of great sources since he is the executive vice president of talent in WWE. Another thing we must not forget is, he is the son in law of Vince McMahon.

John Cena (Net Property – $35m) Richest WWE Superstar – John Cena, the name itself shows a lot of wealth. Cena is the currently the man who’s name sells more merchandise for WWE than anyone. He is a fifteen times world champion and he is being presented as an era of WWE. No wonder how much he earns. But Cena works quite hard for the money he earns, we do not think there is anyone in the WWE who works harder than this man. Cena had been the most pushed wrestler of the last decade and it is quite obvious that he is on this list.

Stone Cold Steve Austin (Net Property – $45m) Richest WWE Superstar – Now it is time we talk about the man who is the main architect of the most popular period of WWE which is the Attitude Era. Quite obviously, Austin is the one of the richest WWE wrestlers of all time. It is said that Austin was paid $5m a year in 1998 and 1999 by WWE. According to a figure put by Austin’s ex wife Debra, Austin was the highest paid wrestler on a per year basis in WWE history.

The Rock (Net Worth – $125m)  Richest WWE Superstar – Another name to highlight Attitude Era is the definitely the Rock. Unlike Austin, Rock was paid highly during his wrestling period. And then, he entered Hollywood in 2002. Now, Rock is one of the biggest stars of Hollywood. The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson earns $10m on average per film and on 2013, he earned around $52m on films according to reports. Nobody comes even closer to Rock’s wealth among WWE wrestlers.
