WWE News: Vince McMahon Returning on Next Week’s Smackdown Live 1

This week’s Smackdown was expected to be a jam packed one with two already announced matchups. The main event was already set up in a matchup that was a first-time ever contest between Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. The latter one became the new challenger for the WWE Championship.

However, the entire show was taken over by Kevin Owens who kicked off the evening and ended it, as well. The Prizefighter continued his rift with Shane McMahon by taking shots to his family and children. It led the commissioner to put his hands on Owens and extend the attack until the officials came down to separate.

The storyline continued further with Daniel Bryan announcing that Shane is indefinitely suspended from the show and his duties of commissioner until further confirmation. It left Owens boasting about his claims that he would ruin the Smackdown brand starting from now.

But, the general manager soon gave a blockbuster announcement that left Kevin Owens as well as the fans stunned. As we have learned during the closing of the show, Vince McMahon will return, next week to address the fallouts from Shane’s actions from last night’s show.

As suggested by Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon putting his hands on Owens was wrong. Hence, his suspension was entirely understandable. The Boss is supposed to give some more update on this situation and declare what’s in store for his son, in the future.

We will learn whether Shane’s position will be reinstated, next week or not? Plus, we might officially get a match between Owens and Shane at the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV. With this furious rivalry ongoing, we need a proper culmination to it, and it should be addressed grandly at the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on September 12th episode.

It will be the first time in a long time that Vince McMahon will make his presence felt on the blue brand. The last time he appeared in WWE was on Monday Night Raw during the post-Wrestlemania episode. He announced Kurt Angle’s name as the new general manager of the show alongside the Superstar Shakeup.
