Last night, it was one of the best episodes of Smackdown Live in this year, undoubtedly. The night was hyped up with the return of Vince McMahon on the show after almost five years to address the ongoing saga between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon who was suspended last week by putting his hands on Owens.
Quite interestingly, The Boss was taking his son’s favour for not finishing his job of beating down the prizefighter. He was offended with the former Universal Champion dragging his grandson’s name into the mix, for no reasons.
So, he gave Shane McMahon another opportunity to compete in the WWE. At Hell in a Cell PPV, he will fight against Kevin Owens inside the unforgiven steel structure. He also hinted that the Smackdown commissioner’s post might be reinstated in due course.

The big announcement started trending on the social media. But, what happened after that turned out to be even greater. Owens went right after McMahon by giving a headbutt. He followed it with a series of kicks and finished with a Frog splash. The Boss was busted open from his forehead and was helped to get out of the arena.
In recent times, we have not witnessed such an impactful segment on either Raw or Smackdown like it was last night. Due to the intensity of the situation, even Stephanie McMahon walked out to the scene. Plus, the audience went nuts over the altercations. Check out the twitter reactions from last night’s Smackdown which also featured three championship matches, as well.
