While following the weekly episodes of Smackdown Live, it is quite clear that Rusev Day is the hottest thing around the brand.

Anytime the crowd gets a chance to chant something; they started to roll with ‘Rusev Day’. This quite incredible thing to hear since the audience backs him up even when he is not on the television.

Relying on this, the t-shirts of Rusev has become the top merchandise seller in recent times giving tough competition to the top superstars like AJ Styles or Roman Reigns.

Now, merchandise selling is said to be one of the keys to success on the WWE roster. But, despite getting all of these, Rusev remain ignored from proper storyline angles on the show.

It has been a constant thing on the brand ever since he got shifted from WWE Raw. Both, Lana and Rusev suffered the same consequences when the hopes around them were high.

But, they are the victims of poor bookings on a constant basis which is why frustrations should get them, at one point.

The same was reflected in recent times on their social media site updates, as well. Lana went on a rant pointing out that #RusevDay is trending all the time on Twitter with the crowd chanting this in all the live events as well as the Smackdown shows.

But, this failed to book her husband at Wrestlemania. According to her, Rusev should be the main-eventer of Wrestlemania with the prime title in his hand.

Meanwhile, a picture was posted on Rusev’s grand entrance at Wrestlemania pledging this should be given to him, one more time at this year’s ‘Mania, too. In reply, the man-in-concern himself sarcastically replied he needs to get booked for the event first in New Orleans.

Also, the Bulgarian Brute pointed out the fact that John Cena returned to Smackdown after a long time and received a chance to compete in the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.

Meanwhile, despite all the supports, Rusev did not get a proper rivalry heading into Wrestlemania. It indicates he will be appearing on either the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or be kept off, altogether.
