There is no doubt about the fact that Team India skipper Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the biggest individual brand in the country at the moment. He has taken his game to a whole new level, and under his leadership, India has performed quite brilliantly in the recent times. Despite losing the Test in South Africa, the Men in Blue thrashed the Proteas in the ODI’s and the T20I series by 5-1 and 2-1 margins.
Meanwhile, it must be noted that with the growing popularity of Virat he has also become a favourite face of the advertisers as well. He will soon be taking charge of the Royal Challengers Bangalore outfit in the IPL. However, ahead of the tournament, Virat has denied sharing the screen space with another celebrity in an advertisement.

The travel and hotel booking company Go Ibibo wanted to associate Kohli with a franchise based co-sponsored ad, but he wasn’t ready to share the screen space with Deepika Padukone. They wanted Kohli to starre in the ad with Deepika. As per reports, it is learnt that Kohli wasn’t keen on doing that advertisement with Deepika who is an A-lister in the Bollywood. Hence RCB had to scrape the R 11 crores deal.
The RCB captain, in general, is not opposed to working with other celebrities professionally. However, in the present case, the demand was ‘beyond the terms of his IPL contract,’ the report said. Meanwhile, it must be noted that Deepika was the former brand ambassador of the Royal Challengers Bangalore. She was in an alleged relationship with the then team owner Siddharth Mallya. The two were seen together in quite a few home matches at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
