It’s quite often that we see the villainous superstars try to maintain their roles even outside the ring.
Kevin Owens is the perfect example of it from the WWE roster who does not hesitate to blast the fans with his nasty comments or actions during all the shows conducted by the company. It is good for his character.
But, this does not sit well with some of the fans and especially amongst the young superstars. They do not understand the word, ‘kayfabe’ which is much important in the world of pro-wrestling.
Here, a professional wrestler has to carry their on-screen role whenever he or she feels to do so. They start acting weirdly just like we see in tv or movies.
A similar incident happened in the indie circuit event where the wrestler did a disgusting act to a little girl which should not have done. Although we do understand that he has not done it intentionally and was just doing his job, but, this did not go well with his father and the present live audience in the venue. So, the matter took a negative turn, really quick.

WWE’s rival brand, Impact Wrestling promotion hosts numerous indie shows, nowadays in association with several other promotions.
Recently, one such event was hosted where Impact hosted a joint venture with Big Time Wrestling. The show was named as the One Night Only: Cali Combat event where the unfortunate incident took place.
An indie wrestler, Devin Danger was making his entrance through the crowd. As always, the fans were trying to applaud him by stretching their hands. A little girl was there, too and she tried the same. Danger tried to offer a handshake to the girl. When she approached for it, the heel-gimmick wrestler not only took away his hands but also spit a chewing gum to her.

This did not go well with the girl’s father. So, he chased Devin Danger and attacked him from behind. A series of punches were delivered to him before the security guards, and officials separated them.
In open eyes, what the wrestler did was so mean, and we can’t blame the father who fought for his daughter’s respect.
Later, Devin Danger realised his mistake and issued an apology to the girl and the father. He also posted on Twitter saying it was a mistake.
Hopefully, he will not have to deal with severe consequences following this incident.
