Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the vice-captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, was ruled out of his team’s tie against Mumbai Indians today (April 12).
The right-arm pacer is suffering from back sore, skipper Kane Williamson confirmed at the time of toss,
“Going to bowl. Good surface for bowling so we need to bowl well first up. Unfortunately, Bhuvi misses out, he has a sore back, so Sandeep Sharma comes in making his debut for the franchise, so that’s exciting for him,” he said.

It is yet to be known whether he will sit out for just one game or will he need few days to be fully fit? Sandeep Sharma, who had played two T20Is for India, replaced Bhuvneshwar in the eleven.
The 24-year-old pacer was purchased by the franchise for a huge amount of Rs 3 Crore. He is known for bowling conventional swing and taking early wickets. He was a part of Kings XI Punjab in last year’s IPL.
Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to field first in the seventh game of the season. Apart from Bhuvneshwar, there was no other change in the side. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians made two changes in their playing XI.

Hardik Pandya is yet to recover and was ruled out of the contest. He was replaced by Pradeep Sangwan, who is a like replacement for Pandya. Skipper Rohit Sharma also preferred Ben Cutting over Mitchell McClenaghan, further bolstering their all-round department.
The home team, Sunrisers Hyderabad, look favourite to win the contest. Mumbai Indians, who suffered a defeat in their first game, will look for the first win of the season.
