Rajiv Shukla, the Chairman of Indian Premier League (IPL), has said that he is hopeful that court will allow using the clubhouse area at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium.

“We are hoping the court, which may hear the case in a day or two, allows cameras and the media in that section. If it does allow that, then we will definitely host the matches at Kotla,” he said.
Feroz Shah Kotla is in danger of losing out home games of Delhi Daredevils after the stadium failed to get clearance from civic authorities to use the area.
That said space is used to televise the games and to accommodate the media people as well. It is necessary for the state association to get clearance from the court to use the area.
If it is allowed to use the area, then Delhi Daredevils will play all of their home games at Kotla.
However, if disallowed by the court, the matches would be shifted out of the stadium. This would mean that Delhi Daredevils would not play even one contest at their home base.
It is to be noted that Ricky Ponting, Head Coach of the franchise, ensured that the side plays all home games at Kotla.
If the matches after shifted, it will come as a big blow for the franchise.
Hemant Dua, CEO of Delhi Daredevils, has said that the franchise is playing its all home games at Feroz Shah Kotla only.
However, the decision of the court will be final. The state association might just ask the court to allow production team use the area.
It will help in televising the games. Delhi Daredevils play their first home game on April 23.
The state association has time to get the area cleared for use. Moreover, Rajiv Shukla is hopeful of the verdict being delivered sooner.

Chennai Super Kings had to shift out their matches as well following the Cauvery water dispute. Such problem in the state was the reason behind the franchise being forced to do so.
Now, the franchise will play all its home game in Pune, a venue where most of CSK players have played in.
CSK play their next home game on April 20 against Rajasthan Royals.
