Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will want to turn things in their favour when they square off against a depleted-looking Delhi Daredevils (DD) side at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 21 (Saturday).
Meanwhile, it is the same old story for the Bangalore side as they have failed to deliver despite having a strong side. The team of Bangalore is yet to perform as a team and this will keep the management worried.
However, this is the perfect time to shift gears against Delhi, who is coming from the back of a defeat.
They just need to find the right combination going and start winning games. Skipper Virat Kohli will want his team – to hit the right chords and bring some joy to their fans.
There are no injury worries and it is likely that RCB will field their best XI.
Here is the predicted XI for Royal Challengers Bangalore:
Quinton de Kock (wk):

The South African wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock has done well in bits and pieces in this edition. However, de Kock needs to bring his A game in front to change Bangalore’s fortune.
De Kock has the capability to smash the ball around the park and will have to do that at the start.
Virat Kohli (c):

Virat Kohli has batted really well so far but lacked support from the other members. While playing his game, Kohli will badly want support from his teammates.
He will be raring to hit the ground running for his team.
Manan Vohra:

The swashbuckling batsman is capable of playing the long handle. However, Manan Vohra has done well for Punjab over the years.
He will look to use the opportunity and cement his place in the squad.
AB de Villiers:

AB De Villiers has done well with the bat so far in this edition of the league. But, he needs to take the onus on himself and lift the morale of the side.
The team management will want a match-winning effort from the star batsman.
Mandeep Singh:

The compact batsman from Punjab has done well individually but needs to come good as a team.
Mandeep Singh will look to play a crucial in changing RCB’s record.
Corey Anderson:

The all-rounder from New Zealand made his entry in the last game and returned with two wickets.
Corey Anderson will be raring to contribute with the bat if given an opportunity.
Washington Sundar:

The young off-spinning all-rounder Washington has had a mixed start to the tournament. A lot depends on his shoulders as he will look to contain runs in the middle-overs.
Sundar along with Chahal will have to stop Delhi’s run flow.
Chris Woakes:

Chris Woakes, who has had an outstanding tournament so far will look to replicate his performance against the Delhi side.
He has already picked up 8 wickets and will look to continue doing so.
Yuzvendra Chahal:

Yuzvendra Chahal has been the go-to man for Kohli, who has over the years become a match-winner for RCB.
However, he needs to prove his ability at this hour.
Umesh Yadav:

The fast bowler from India Umesh Yadav has also had a good start to this IPL. He has already bagged seven wickets in the four matches.
Umesh will look for some early wickets and send the visitors on the backfoot.
Mohammed Siraj:

Mohammed Siraj made his debut for Bangalore and had a very average outing as they lost it.
However, he will look to make full use of the opportunity and cement his place in the squad of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
