Things are up for a big change on tonight’s WWE Raw with the return of Vince McMahon. Despite the negative surroundings on the flagship show, WWE TLC turned out to be a good show. Fallouts from the PPV event will consume the show for a better part but that should not overshadow the announcements from Vince McMahon. Plus, there will be a big match on the show as a result of an altercation happened at WWE TLC.
Dolph Ziggler and Finn Balor will lock horns in a match in a singles capacity. We expect Braun Strowman to show up to entertain the fans in some capacity and also build momentums for his upcoming title shot. Plus, we expect some fallouts from the actions of Ronda Rousey at WWE TLC. All of those will be in-store on WWE Raw to deliver a night to remember. The Golden One Center in Sacramento, California will be the host of the show.
Vince McMahon returning to WWE Raw is always a rating booster for the show. It is a master stroke from the creative team to pull the viewership up from a declining state. Even if there are no such important announcements coming up tonight, the fans will wait for the show with big anticipation. But we do expect some firecracker when the Boss eventually shows up, (courtesy WWE.com)
“With Mr. McMahon’s return imminent, however, Corbin could have a lot to answer for regardless of his position. How will The Chairman shakeup Monday Night Raw, and who will benefit — or suffer — as a result? Whatever Mr. McMahon has in store, you won’t want to miss it this Monday night on Raw, live at 8/7 C on USA Network.”
The main concern for Vince McMahon appearance will be to determine a new general manager for WWE Raw following WWE TLC. We predict that Kurt Angle might get reinstated in his position of GM post, for now. Corbin will have to answer to the Boss and go back to his routine task of an ordinary performer. Meanwhile, the rumors are suggesting that Vince McMahon will bring a new direction to the show. We will get to know what it is exactly going to be.
Ronda Rousey costing Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair their championship match at WWE TLC was clearly a setup for future. WWE Raw women’s champion might not have any future title defense in hand with Royal Rumble coming up. Hence, we expect a potential bout against either Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair at the upcoming PPV. The storyline angle will move forward accordingly starting from now.
The rivalry between Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre took an interesting turn with Dolph Ziggler getting into it. Last night, Ziggler engaged in a backstage brawl with Finn Balor to set up a match on WWE Raw. These two will square off in a match which should be a solid affair. Drew McIntyre will also lurk into the match to perhaps disqualify the match. This, in turn, can set up a triple threat affair.
As for the other rivalries are concerned on WWE Raw, Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins will continue. We received a new champion at WWE TLC that automatically hints a rematch for the IC title in due course. Furthermore, Braun Strowman should also be present on the scene starting to build the upcoming title match at Royal Rumble against Brock Lesnar.
