On Tuesday (19 February), Oman national cricket team scored the fourth lowest completed List A total against Scotland national cricket team. In that 50-over game, Scotland bundled out the host side Oman for just 24 runs at Al Amerat.
ICC has not granted the ODI status to Oman yet, So the 50-over match has been recorded in the List A status. It was first List A match of three-match series and the experienced Scotland side brutally smashed the host side.

After Scotland won the toss, they bundled out Oman for just 24 runs – the fourth lowest completed List A total. Also, it is the lowest completed List A total in the national side matches. The previous lowest completed List A total in the national side matches was 35 by Zimbabwe against Sri Lanka at Harare on 25 April 2004 (that match had an ODI status).

Scotland chased down the target in 3.2 overs without losing any wicket
Apart from the no.3 batsman Khawar Ali (15), none of Oman batsmen reached the double-digit numbers. The second highest score in that innings was three that came from the extras. A total of six Oman batsmen, including one not out batsman, failed to open their accounts in that innings.
Among the Scottish bowlers, Ruaidhri Smith (4/7) and the List A debutant Adrian Neill (4/7) both picked up four wickets each. Also, Alasdair Evans (2/10) bagged the other two wickets in that innings.
In reply, Scotland chased down that tiny target in just 3.2 overs without losing any wicket. Scotland won the game by ten wickets with 280 balls remaining.
