Australia’s explosive batsman David Warner has butterflies in his stomach, however, at the same time, the southpaw has a lot at stake to prove his mettle on his return. Apart from it, he is excited to rejoin Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise and one-time champion Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the IPL 2019. Warner has recently one-year ban in the wake-up of the ball-tampering saga at Cape Town in South Africa.
“Great to be back here in Hyderabad with @sunrisershyd (Sunrisers Hyderabad),” Warner tweeted.
The 32-year-old Paddington-born Warner has also missed the eleventh edition of IPL. In IPL 2018, SRH led by Kane Williamson has finished first on the points table with 18 points in 14 games. The Hyderabad-based team has won nine games while losing out on five matches.
Recently, Warner has slammed 77-ball 110 for his club in the New South Wales Premier Cricket competition. Warner has recovered from an elbow injury which he picked in the recently-held Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Earlier, the franchise has welcomed Warner on his return. He has led the team in 2016 while laying hands on the coveted trophy. In Warner’s absence, Williamson has led the franchise to make it to the finale in the tenth edition of the cash-rich league.

Warner, who is in good stead, is hopeful to leave an impact in the forthcoming IPL before rejoining the senior team for the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.
The prominent Aussies batsman has expressed thanks to his franchise and his fans too. He reiterated it’s the right time to hit the ground and running. Warner has struggled in the recent past while drawing flak for being a plotter to ask his teammate Cameron Bancroft on altering the condition of a ball.
“I can’t thank the franchise and fans enough for your loyal support over the last 12 months. Time to get back into it. #orangearmy #sideprofile,” Warner maintained in his tweet.
As top-order batsman Shikhar Dhawan has been signed by Delhi Capitals (DC), Warner’s entry in Hyderabad camp will balance the squad while eyeing to bag the second title.
Sunrisers will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 24 at Eden Gardens.
